Hong Kong. The World of Suzie Wong (Richard Quine, 1960)

Jingan Young 楊靜安 is Hong Kong born award-winning playwright,  journalist, producer and editor. In 2020, she earned her PhD in Film Studies at King’s College London. Her research focused on the cinematic representations of London’s Soho in post-war British cinema. During her PhD she launched a podcast and later co-founded the second incarnation of the Soho Bites podcast.

In October 2019 she launched the Cities in Cinema network, a project to engage the wider global community on the importance of cities and cinema. A new podcast, web series and other film events with invited guests, scholars, critics etc. will be featured/listed here.
